Lebanon has now reached a very dangerous security situation. It has also reached an existential food, medication, and security threat. There are rumors of religious Islamist terrorism on the rise again. In the financial crisis The us dollar has sky rocketed to reach 61500 LBP.
On the other hand, the Christians are experiencing more and more persecution in the world. We will speak about Fr. Oscar Benavidez, who was arrested and sentenced for 8 years in jail after receiving a very irregular trial. All of this happened because Fr Oscar expressed his opinion about the Ortega regime. Daniel Ortega, the president of Nicaragua believes that he was anointed by God to start the political messianism. This is a very dangerous ideology growing in Nicaragua. Political messianism is led by the wife of Daniel Ortega and aims to persecute Catholic and Protestant institutions and individuals in Central America. On this show we will also speak about the persecution of the Christians in India where the persecution is predicted to increase a lot to reach one of the highest countries persecuting christians along with China and Nigeria. The program of food security of the Mission of Hope and Mercy facing responding to the economic difficulties of the Christian people in Lebanon. In 2023 we have hope and with the solidarity between people, we can rise and be supportive of one another. The work of the Mission of Hope and Mercy has been focused to bring 3000 food boxes that is 47 tons of Food to at least 25 thousand people. Family is the central unit where the Mission is investing most of its programs in order to make the families become the place where faith, hope and love are restored. The Mission of Hope and Mercy continues to seek the help of all the donors and friends at our End of Year Campaign. This campaign will feed at least 3000 families, will help paying for education for an entire school and provide medication for dozens of people with chronic illnesses and will help paying for surgeries for people who are in need.
Peace in the World is the basic foundation in which humanity can grow in faith, hope and love, and this can only happen with the Lord Jesus Christ.
BIO: Jacqueline Emanuel, graduated from ESA university with a Business/ finance degree. She worked as a freelance accountant and then was employed in Bank Med as senior customer service representative. Jackeline was a top performer over the past 10 years and got promoted 4 times. She now works as the in training Operation manager for the Mission of Hope and Mercy in order to organize and schedule the mission goals, protocols and set targets based on professional standards and norms.
