This week on the show we try a little different approach. We turn the reins over to actor, screenwriter, producer, and man of much interestingness, Kevin Schmidt. Kevin is the new Public Broadcast Manager for Calvert County and is in the process of making a documentary on Southern Maryland's response to COVID-19. It is in this capacity he functions as our host today. Though, in much the Progress Culture style we are carried to and through numerous thought threads. Paul F. Murphy, TechPort Director, Tommy Luginbill, and Dominic Fragman join Kevin as we jump into a variety of conversation topics for this week's episode of Progress Culture: Whats up with SIF? Whats up with TechPort? Whats up with Culture? Are there high growth areas on the horizon, especially in the innovation sector? How do we create space for people within them? How do we expand employment opportunities for people? Is the biggest innovation from this crisis in seeing leaders emerge from areas we don't expect with different ways of approaching problems? We also discuss important turning points in our own respective journeys: sobriety, intuition, mentorship, the value of understanding the structure of and how to communicate through stories and positivity.
