Sadly, it is time for the season four finale of Goodbye Mello Brick Road. Fortunately, though, it is an amazing episode. It’s one of my favorites ever and so special. Not only are Kelly Mahaffey and Emily Quick both back for their third episodes on the show, but they are here to talk with me LIVE and IN PERSON at the beaches of the Polynesian Village Resort! We’ve never done a destination podcast and there’s no better time for it than for the season four finale (Kelly’s second consecutive finale!). We are talking about our top five Disney resorts this week and what a treat to do it from one of the best Disney resorts! I love them both and was so honored to talk with them. It was a sensational fourth season, comprised of twenty-two episodes. Just like network television! Happy March Madness! With the barrage of NCAA brackets on full display, there is no better time for a deviation from the mean when it comes to Goodbye Mello Brick Road! That’s right: Season four’s penultimate episode isn’t a top five list and it isn’t a draft. It’s a bracket! It’s a tournament to determine the best athlete that we vaguely and randomly remember from our childhoods. Baseball, basketball, football, hockey. It’s all on the table! Dustin Beach (sixth appearance), Pete Peterson (ninth appearance), and Ryan Walsh (now in the five-timers club!) join the show LIVE and IN PERSON to vote on each matchup and determine the best forgotten athlete from the 2000s and 2010s. There is truly no one more equipped for this topic in the world than Hector Servin. Everyone’s favorite local theme park aficionado, Hector Servin, is back on the podcast for his tenth appearance to discuss the best theme park rides that never came to be! Survivor returned last night for its forty-fourth season, so is there a better time to talk about the best contestants from the rich history of the preeminent reality competition television series in the world? The unplanned hiatus is over and we are back! (Look, sometimes, I’m tired, man.)
