The Fruit of the Spirit is ... Goodness.

The call to goodness falls flat in this cultural moment. Goodness is not good enough for a church fixated on greatness. The challenge is that our movement and desire to ascend the heights of greatness is the counter-movement of Jesus our King. He considered his station with God as a thing not to be grasped and in turn he emptied himself. This is biblical goodness. His name is Jesus.
