Adapted from King’s 1983 novel of the same name, the film centers on the harrowing tale of Louis Creed, a father who unwittingly sacrifices his family’s safety for the sake of his own grief. Brandon dives into the film’s themes of navigating such grief and parental responsibility, finding ways to humorously comment on them while also relating to his own life and experience as a father.
