Today, I talk about the Google+ (Google Plus) iPad app. After a year, and suffering through a lackluster iPhone version, Google has finally come out with an app that is pretty darn sweet. The best part is I don’t have to cock my head to the side every time I want to read a post.
The Google+ iPad app actually does something that other apps don’t: When you are in portrait mode, you swipe up and down to move through the posts. When you are in landscape mode, you swipe left and right. You might think that is confusing, but reality is, that is pretty natural to do. I have not once missed a beat from it.
This app is set up for Retina display and it has a better hangout engine. It is also an update for all iOS devices, so your 4S can also get in on a better social experience.
Now all they have to do is open up that API…
