The Tech Informist - For fans of Apple, Google, Microsoft & other technology

Google IO 2016 thoughts - Episode 127

Listen Later

What a week it has been with the big Google IO conference wrapping up!

On this episode of Tech Informist, we discuss some of the recent announcements to come from Google such as:

  • Google Assistant
  • Google Home
  • Allo & Duo messaging apps
  • Android Wear 2.0
  • Android N preview build 3 now available for specific Nexus devices
  • Daydream which is the Google implementation of VR beyond Cardboard

There really is too much to list and for us to talk about and keep the show at a decent length, but we feel these were some of the topics that would be most interesting to you the listener.

Did we miss anything you feel should have been mentioned, or get completely wrong? Definitely let us know because we would love to hear from you.

We also have our still unnamed rant segment, app & entertainment picks plus the beer pick of the week!
