Last week, Google wrapped up it's 2 hour IO 2021 event and while we saw some cool announcements about Android 12, Project Starline, Maps, one item stood out- Google's massive Wear OS push. With the might of Wear OS, Fitbit & an alliance with Samsung, it looks like Google is finally working on a solid Apple Watch contender, as predicted on an earlier episode of this podcast.
