Meanwhile, Google opened a state-of-the-art data center facility in Winschoten, Netherlands, on November 18th, expanding its European footprint. Additionally, the company announced a 6.4 billion dollar cloud infrastructure investment in Germany, demonstrating its commitment to global expansion.

On the AI chip front, Meta and Google are reportedly in talks regarding a significant deal for Google's AI chips, potentially challenging Nvidia's market dominance. Though details remain sparse, the discussions signal Google's growing confidence in competing in the chip space.

Back home, Google and Oregon's innovation partners launched the Oregon AI Accelerator program, opening applications on November 17th for entrepreneurs looking to fuel the next wave of AI startups. The pilot cohort runs from February through May 2026.

Enterprise-wise, Google Cloud continues gaining traction with Gemini Enterprise, its agentic AI platform designed to transform workplace AI adoption.
