At its annual developer conference, Google announced several new AI-powered features and products, including a chatbot for its cloud computing services, a chatbot called Bard for consumers, and a language model called PaLM 2. 
It also showcased a new functionality in Google Maps called Immersive View that visualizes a chosen route with AI-generated visuals, and a new feature in Gmail called "Help Me Write" that uses generative AI to expand emails quickly. 
Additionally, Google highlighted its partnership with Character AI, a startup that builds advanced, customizable AI chatbots. 
The company's AI technology will be used at a Wendy's drive-through location to take orders.
