Lake Placid News Editor Andy Flynn interviewed Gordy Sheer, director of marketing and sponsorships at USA Luge, about the upcoming Running of the Balls fundraiser. More than 1,000 lacrosse balls will be sent down the mile-long luge track at Mount Van Hoevenberg to raise money for recruiting, training and supporting athletes with the ultimate goal of winning medals for the U.S. at the Winter Olympics.
