They have always been close, but the duo behind the Gorillaz sharing such an intimate experience seems nothing less than cosmically ordained. To deal with their grief, they went on an adventure to India, with it's profound acceptance of death and it's gods and reincarnations. Together, while coming to terms with their loss, they created one of the most beautiful and intimate works that Gorillaz has ever done. Some are saying it's the next Plastic Beach... I'd say it's more like Plastic Beach—reincarnated.
