Christopher Dummitt, a Professor of Canadian history at Trent University is the co-author of a recent Macdonald-Laurier Institute paper titled "The viewpoint diversity crisis at Canadian universities: Political homogeneity, self-censorship, and threats to academic freedom." This paper discusses survey-data on opinions and experiences about academic freedom, viewpoint diversity, and the overall role Universities play in the country. He joins Gormley to discuss this study.
