A private member’s bill is seeking to establish a foreign influence registry. Bill S-237 would require anyone with ties to an organization that could be under the direction of foreign governments to register and contact Canadian public officials. David Wong, an architect based in Vancouver and activist for redress joins Gormley to explaining his disappointment in the senator who is using his Chinese ancestry to leverage his political career.
