A new and updated Moderna vaccine became available in Canada on Tuesday after Health Canada gave it the green light for anyone over the age of six months. According to the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA), the province is also gearing up for a triple-threat flu season that will see people affected by influenza, COVID-19 and respiratory syncytial virus. Saskatchewan’s provincial health officer, Dr. Saqib Shahab joins Gormley to discuss the new vaccine and trends in illness the SHA is presently observing.
