Saskatchewan's Immigration Minister, Jeremy Harrison, met with both federal and provincial immigration ministers last week about a proposal that would give Saskatchewan more authority over immigration. According to a release from the Government of Saskatchewan, this would " give Saskatchewan sole authority to nominate newcomers moving to Saskatchewan control over the family class of immigration."
