Drones are being used in a new way to help farming in the province. Kaylie Krys, a graduate student at the University of Saskatchewan College of Agriculture and Bioresources, uses drones to help track and record this season’s canola on her family farm. It can show seedling count and percentage of plant ground coverage, and she joins Gormley to discuss how this will help improve farming in the future.
