“Bunny hug” is an infamous, uniquely Saskatchewan term, referring to the type of sweatshirt that other provinces know as a “hoodie.” Recently, the Trademarks Office in Ottawa allowed for the word “Bunny Hug” to be registered as a trademark for “hooded sweatshirts,” giving a company the exclusive right to the word.
