Not since the 1960s has both the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA) been on strike simultaneously. This has put several productions for movies and TV to a halt. Current films are scheduled to be released with no actors' promotion. Robert Thompson is a Trustee Professor of Television and Popular Culture at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. He joins Gormley to explain the impact this is not only having in Hollywood but for productions in Canada as well.
