Thanksgiving is right around the corner. Some Canadians might have tight wallets when it comes to putting food on the table this season. According to a recent study by Dalhousie University's agri-food analytics lab and the Angus Reid Institute, "Thanksgiving dinners in Canada, have increased in per-kilogram price by an average of 15 to 16% compared to last year." Key thanksgiving ingredients such as potatoes, turkey, chicken, and bread have all increased by over 10 per cent. Sylvain Charlebois, professor in food distribution and policy at Dalhousie University Agri-Food Analytics Lab tells us more about this study.
