As the number of transgender patients increases especially among girls who are entering the stages of adolescence, Canadian specialist Dr. Joey Bonifacio is urging medical doctors to slow down treatments for them. Bonifacio says in a recent article from the National Post that the health care system should examine why these trends are soaring all while taking a "neutral" approach to young patients.
