Here, Paul confronts the Galatians because they were turning their backs on the liberty they have in Christ for the bondage of the law. His gospel concern made him an enemy of the Galatians, which troubled him. However, Paul proved to them that he was not self-seeking like the Judaizers, but the was showing pastoral care by arguing with affection to win them back.
