1. The unrighteousness of all people.

- All have sinned.
- All are under judgement.
- All cannot save themselves.

2. The righteousness from God.
- It is revealed. (Rom. 3:21)
- It is from God.
- It is a divine attribute.

- It is a divine activity.
(Ps. 98:2; 51:14; Ps. 143:11)
- It is a divine achievement.

3. The response of faith. (Eph. 2:8–9)
- Faith is not a work that earns salvation.
- Faith is a gift from Gracious God.
(Heb. 12:2; Acts 3:16; Phil. 1:29; 2 Pet. 1:1)
- Faith is a response to God’s grace.
(Eph. 2:8)
