Don’t think of energy as Red Bull, coffee, or a one-shot bottle that promise more activity. Energy is the ability to do work, and the major contributor to the production of it is the mitochondria - the cellular power plant that makes the currency that we use for chemical energy, a.k.a ATP. The mitochondria control how much cellular energy you manufacture, which is not just based on one’s age, but how much mitochondria one has in the cell. An average 10% of your body weight is made up of these tiny power plants, so you would think everyone’s energy level would be through the ceiling. Unfortunately, many of us feel fatigue more often than not, due to compromised mitochondria. The question is, how can we improve our energy levels? Tune in to Eve Plews, L.N.C, to find out how!
