Stage 2 of Live at the Cape is already providing housing to an eclectic mix of local residents, retirees, e-changers and urban work at home professionals within a living environment designed to encourage physical activity, incidental social contact and community engagement. Residents pay minimal or no energy bills as each home is designed as a ‘mini-power’ plant responsive to climate and temperature changes. With the support of ethical investors Live at the Cape guidelines and house designs are open sourced to support the spread of affordable, eco-resilient housing estates asap.
