The Bible defines our "flesh" as the part of us that is weak, imperfect, prone to sin, and the seat of all sinful passions and desires. We could say it's the part of us that does the opposite of what our spirit wants--which is why the flesh and the spirit fight each other.
In this week's podcast, Daphne and Angie talk about uncontrolled flesh, but not in the dramatic way you may be thinking. Obviously, a temper tantrum would be "uncontrolled flesh" but so is any form of disobedience. Remember this equation:
undeveloped spirit + unrenewed mind = uncontrolled flesh
In this episode, Daphne and Angie share personal stories about what happened after recording the previous week's podcast about resting in God. The thing to remember is that uncontrolled flesh, even in the tiniest form, is the reason for many spiritual failures or missed opportunities.Click here to Download Episode
