Suicide. It's a hard topic to discuss. In 2012, Monroe, Wisconsin natives Kurt and Teri Ellefson lost their young son, Jacob, to suicide. One year after losing Jacob, they knew they needed to turn this tragedy into something greater. So, they created Jacob's SWAG, a non-profit focused on suicide prevention, education, and awareness. They also created an app called Got Your Back to house resources for suicide and self-harm.
