This week in the Niche Cache we start with NZ Warriors who had a win in Melbourne will be eager to repeat the brutality at Mt Smart vs Gold Coast Titans this weekend. Wests Tigers are doing well under kiwi coach Benji Marshall and Charlisse Leger-Walker is also doing rather well, having won an NCAA championship and joining a small list of New Zealand basketballers getting drafted into the WNBA/NBA. NBL basketball just started so we check in with that highlighting kiwis to watch out for before rolling into some football chat with Football Ferns chasing World Cup qualification and Chris Wood's return to Nottingham Forest. We also discuss Chris Greenacre as Wellington Phoenix coach and Auckland FC's fun draw vs Melbourne Victory in which they showed how impressive their development system already is.
