Making love to the woman you chose to marry brings you closer to her and her closer to you. The act of love making strengthens the bonds of trust and love. Conversely, when a man rapes a woman this act destroys trust and creates fear and post traumatic stress.

By the same token; when you give to someone it requires a degree of sacrifice. You are giving up something even as you don’t have all you want for yourself. This selfless act produces the kind of gratitude and fulfillment that God created you for. When a politician forces you to give to Charity via a government program it does not produce the kind of Joy, trust or feelings of appreciation or gratitude that come along as normal byproducts of voluntary giving.
