Today is the 1-year anniversary of the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety, and we figured - you know what itโs time to put it to bed. As Professor Joseph Ibrahim said on the show last year, itโs finished itโs gone, and itโs in the hands of the Government now.
The situation we have now heading towards an election is probably a lot of promises of improved care - some which may or may not come to fruition, but on Tuesday we'll hear a view that we should ignore all of it and act ourselves.
We're delighted to welcome Lou Pascuzzi, CEO of TLC Healthcare, into the chair and Louโs got a lot of radical ideas about how to reshape care services. He'll share his passions and frustrations, as we cover COVID policy, funding, industry inaction and the responsibility of providers to own their challenges.
