The Government have been called to intervene over a vacant block of apartments in Ballisodare.
The Old Mill Apartments have been vacant since 2009, and has been labelled as an “eyesore” in the area.
It has been argued that the empty apartments are only worsening the ongoing housing crisis, as other dwellings in the region are increasing in cost due to demand.
Local Sinn Fein Cllr Thomas Healy says the buildings have to be demolished:
