Government Response to Botched Money Laundering Investigation, Are You Allergic & Giving Out Veto Powers

We spoke with AG David Eby to get the government's reaction after we learned yesterday in a breaking story from Global Investigative reporter Sam Cooper, the charges in a potential breakthrough in the money laundering probe in B.C. were dropped because of confidential information about an informant being leaked.
According to a study now published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, half of adults who think they have food related allergies actually don’t. Dr. Ruchi Gupta is the lead author of the study and joined the show to tell us if we are actually allergic to the things we think we are.
And, in the summer of last year, a bill was proposed that would essentially give indigenous people exclusive veto rights. Currently in its second reading, the bill is very close to being passed. We spoke with the former Deputy Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development and talked about what this proposed bill would mean for Canada, and British Columbia energy products going forward.
