On this episode of Cyberology, Dr. Fenecia Homan returns as a guest to give us an update on the Governors Cyber Academy, which is dedicated to expanding awareness and access to cyber education and career pathways to South Dakota high school students. Homan recaps how the first full year of programming went and what is on the horizon for the upcoming year.

The Governors Cyber Academy gives high school students the opportunity to take university-level, transferrable, dual-credit cyber courses. Students who take all courses in the program will complete the first year for a bachelor's degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, cyber operations, and network and security administration.
