God wants us to intentionally spend time remembering Him and what He has done - in our lives and those of others. One way Israel did this was through the Passover holiday.

Going to Luke 22, Pastor John asks the question of why would Jesus, the Lamb of God, ever need to participate in a Passover meal? Jesus joined the believers in remembering and honoring the new thing God was doing for everyone.

Pastor John raises the point that one of the things we may fail to understand is when and how we apply Biblical truths to the circumstance, challenges, or issues in our life we experience. Sometimes it seems like our reality and the Word don't agree.

But if the Word of God is absolute truth, we need to understand what we are missing. Pastor John goes over multiple mistakes we often make and how to correct ourselves to realign with the Lord.

After His resurrection and before leaving, Jesus told His disciples what their mission was - to make disciples of the whole world. Victor Lynn reminds us that today, like the Gideons, our mission remains the same. Victor then gives examples on Gideons and how they carry out this command and tips on how we can do it as well.

Service started with Cynthia and Andrew Forsley dedicating their son Tobias to the Lord.

Then the message Pastor John brings is focused on only two groups - the lost and the saved. Salvation is the same for all - cleansing by the Lord and filled by the Spirit (e.g., John 3, Ezekiel 36). A life of salvation is then being inhabited by the Spirit and experiencing the Lord personally (e.g., Jeremiah 31, John 20).

At the start of service, Candido and Cindy Trejo dedicate their baby son, Ezra to the Lord.

Pastor John then discusses a problem we have today in our churches across the world. It's nothing new; lots of kings had this same issue in the Old Testament.

The problem is prosperity. It isn't an issue of wealth. Rather our prosperity causes us to become lukewarm and forget about the Lord.

Pastor John points out the lights mentioned in Genesis 1 verses 3 and 14 through 18. Looking at the text he demonstrates they are the lesser light and sun (14-18) and the Lord (3). The first light is THE LIGHT, the Light mentioned in John 1 and John 3. The same Light that is intended to guide us and dwell in us. That Light is here.

Today our youth return from camp and share about their experiences there. Afterwards our service turns into an extended time of worship and celebrating the Lord.

Looking to Luke 13:22-29 to start, Pastor John points out that at the judgement Jesus never tells the lost He did not know them. Rather, He says multiple times that He did not know where they were coming from? Pastor John encourages us to understand that everything we encounter during our journey and what we go through in life, the Lord is using to prepare us for eternity.

Today we are visited by Pastor Buddy Denton. Buddy and his wife Cheryl are US Missionaries to Slavic Communities. Pastor Buddy points out how it can be frustrating to wait on people and we can frustrate them by making them wait. He then goes to the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and John and the Book of Acts to help us remember that their are people who need us, and are waiting on us, to help them meet and walk with the Lord.
