We kick off our Fall 2026 vision series, NEXT STEPS, with a look at the first step in our growth flywheel: Gather. So let's explore why we gather and what's meant to happen when we gather.

Maybe it's breaking free of the doom scroll on your phone. Or controlling your lustful or fearful thoughts. Or staying away from the ice cream in the freezer. Or getting up early enough to prioritize time with God. No matter who we are, we all struggle with self control! It's the last of Paul's 9 character qualities that make up the fruit of the Spirit that God is forming in his people.

All the fruit of the Spirit are counter-cultural, but GENTLENESS might be the more counter-cultural of all. And yet the biblical call to gentleness is consistent and clear.
