Jude 1-4 // Because God keeps His people by grace, the church must lovingly and courageously contend for the once-for-all gospel whenever it is quietly redefined or slowly surrendered.

Revelation 21 // Contemplation of heaven is God’s ammunition for our unsteady hearts. In this teaching, we will answer three questions: 1) what is heaven?; 2) what won’t be in heaven; 3) what will be in heaven?

Revelation 20 // Advent and Christmas teach us that second coming, the judgment of Christ, the final battle, the end of the world: these are not simply far away events, but they have their beginning now, the axe started swinging in the first advent, even if the tree won’t fall fully until the second. Christ's kingdom has been inaugurated, Satan is bound, and it will all soon come to a close in his great judgement.

Revelation 19 // Revelation 19 reveals the victory of the Lamb who conquers through faithful love, giving His people a new song, a new identity, and a new courage that expose Babylon’s illusions.

These gifts become the foundation for the endurance we need both now and in the days to come, as the hallelujahs of heaven and the marriage supper of the Lamb assure us that God’s restoring justice and unshakeable joy will have the final word.

Revelation 17-18 // The prostitute Babylon goes by many names and takes many forms, but in our day and place she may be best represented by the greed of comfort and the lust of power. How do we recognize Babylon and come out from under her influence and away from her coming destruction?

Revelation 15-16 //  Why is it so hard to talk about God's wrath? In this text, we find why understanding his wrath against sin and evil is not only essential to understanding God's nature, but also can become good news.

Revelation 14 //  The way to identify a counterfeit is not to study thousands of counterfeits. The way to identify the counterfeit is to study the real thing. In a world full of false promises—success, comfort, power, endless distraction—how do we know we belong to Jesus? Revelation 14 pulls back the veil to show us the real thing: the Lamb of God who marks His people not with a brand, but with His name.

Revelation 13 // Revelation 13 does not invite us to decipher a timetable of doom. It invites us to see what already is—the contest between the Lamb who reigns through self-giving love and the beasts who rule through domination and deceit.

Revelation 12 // The drama of redemptive history is in full display in this text, as the woman in the wilderness goes up against the danger of the dragon. What we find is a decisive victory for the lamb and the people of God, and an exposure of Satan's futility and foolishness.

Revelation 4 //  The vision of Revelation 4 lifts our eyes to the throne standing at the center of all reality, and to the one seated there reigning in glory and power. The throne of God centers all of our hope and calls forth ceaseless worship.
