It made me nervous and a little uncomfortable, but it's a topic that I felt I HAD to speak to. What happened to George Floyd is devastating. The riots and violence we are seeing are devastating. The criticism we are seeing from how others are choosing to process, speak up, and navigate this season is devastating. Can we not recognize that we are all unique individuals? That we are all going to process in our own way? Can we just give each other some extra grace, compassion, and understanding right now? Let's give each other room to process however we need to, whether that be through privately educating ourselves, publicly speaking up, donating to causes, or something else.
