Forget grace, and ministry will often become a duty. Forget grace, and ministry will quickly become me-focussed. Forget grace, and perhaps there will be a reluctance to serve others at all. However, the grace-filled church will embrace an attitude of humble, sacrificial service towards others in response to God’s grace and expect nothing in return for their service.
