Life is messy. Really messy. If we're honest, we are each just as much of a mess as everything else. Life is messy because we are messy. One of the most amazing things about the Bible is its radical realism. The Bible doesn’t shy away from expressing the fact that we are all total train-wrecks! It also doesn’t shy away from the reality that God still loves us and is not finished working on us. Jesus came precisely because of God’s love and our messiness.
