Sunday’s sermon from the Community Evangelical Free Church in Soap Lake, WA. As we begin a new study in the book of Titus our text for this Sunday is Titus 1:1-4. In our Scripture we find Paul as the author of a letter he writes to a young pastor named Titus. While this letter has much encouragement for healthy church life and what godly leaders look like, it’s in the introduction where we find an important reminder of who we are as Christians and what our purpose is. Just as Paul calls himself a servant of God, we too must remember that we are not our own but have been bought with the precious blood of Christ. Our servanthood to God is to be joyful as we remember that by His grace we are secure in Him and adopted into His family. We pray this sermon encourages and strengthens you in your walk with Jesus.
