I absolutely loved speaking to the amazing Grace Kingswell this week on the podcast.
Grace is a nutritional therapist who focuses on root cause medicine, and throughout this episode we discuss the potential that food has to heal but also hinder our health.
Grace was inspired to become a nutritional therapist due to a personal experience of numerous health issues growing up, including; fatigue, eczema and gut symptoms. This led her to apply functional medicine to her healing journey, in contrast to a typical western culture of medicine which often treats the symptom and not the root cause.
We explore the undeniable link between mental health and nutrition, diet culture, veganism and sustainability, sugar, emotional eating and traditional Chinese medicine, as well as discussing the incredible power of breath work and cold water swimming.
Throughout the episode me and Grace align with our desire to seek balance in our lives, find time for self care, and discover the things that make us happy and doing them more!
It was so great to speak to Grace, she is incredibly knowledgeable about nutrition and I learnt so much from this conversation. We really hope you enjoy this episode!
