Tim Chambers, award-winning artist and author, was struck with a life-altering diagnosis from his doctor at the height of his career. He learned on that fateful day that he had Ushers Syndrome, a disease in which he would eventually go blind.  Like all people, Tim was devastated and struggled with the news, not knowing what his future would hold. Yet, along the journey he discovered the amazing ways that God would revel beautiful truths about life through his "weakness" and his surrender to God. He would begin to "see" beauty in ways he had never seen with his full sight.

 

In his new, inspirational book SEEING BEAUTIFUL, Tim shares about art and life, and how his faith transformed him from within.  Today. Tim currently has only 17 degrees of vision remaining, but with the limited amount of vision he has, he is able to paint magnificent portraits and landscapes, often seeing beyond the artwork to what others so often miss
