The Palais des congrès de Montréal buzzed on September 23–24 with the 10th edition of Grand Batimatech, bringing together more than 950 professionals and leaders for the flagship event on technological innovation in construction and real estate. The event was made possible thanks to funding from the Government of Québec, the City of Montréal, and 60+ partners, including Groupe Chevalier Séguin.
This milestone edition—featuring 70 speakers across two stages—highlighted the growing importance of international collaboration in the sector’s digital transformation. The event’s energy and momentum were also driven by five dynamic emcees: Cindy Berthiaume (member of our board), Louise Mazauric, Brigitte Dupuis, Michèle Frenière, and Annie Chantelois. European representatives—including a delegation from Austria—joined participants from the United States, Canada, and Tahiti (French Polynesia), enriching discussions and strengthening bridges between innovation ecosystems.
“Our team had the privilege of taking part in the 10th anniversary of Grand Batimatech at the Palais des congrès de Montréal. This must-attend industry event brought together clients, partners, friends, and innovators around a single goal: shaping the future of construction,” said Hugo Brizard, Co-CEO at BRIX.
Premieres at Grand Batimatech
“The Innovation Barometer will publish its first sector study of the fall—focused on construction—on September 23, to be unveiled by Luc Sirois at Grand Batimatech,” noted the Conseil de l’innovation du Québec.
At the event, Luc Sirois presented this first-of-its-kind Innovation Barometer study for the construction sector. Grand Batimatech 2025 also stood out for several notable launches. Landerz unveiled an exclusive, end-to-end solution for development-ready land acquisition. Estim.AI likewise chose Batimatech for the official launch of the construction module of its platform, confirmed by Hugues Mailhot, Vice President at Explor.ai. The program further spotlighted essential conversations about the industry’s future, including a panel with Frank David, Founder and President of Kavik, and Tommy Bouillon, President of Brique Recyc.
Together, these premieres underscore Batimatech’s unique role as a catalyst for innovation and a prime venue for first looks at the advances reshaping our industry....
