I know this take will get blasted. But Trevor Bauer wants to play again and rightfully so. The Padres really can't give us a break this 2023 season! No better way to show desperation than to look into calling up a 20-year old prospect in AA too soon! So much to wonder including how will this impact the roster construction throughout years to come. To top it off, the reason for a potential call-up is sad. But desperate times call for desperate measures.
