Part 2 of our December series - "The Unexpected Christmas Playlist" - was truly unexpected! It isn't often (or ever!) that you hear "Grandma got run over by a reindeer" sung in a church service, but that silly song actually set the table for us to talk about how we can truly have peace even when the holiday season is more bitter than sweet. While it's highly unlikely that we'll be run over by one of Santa's reindeer, it is a guarantee that in this life we'll have trouble, and in Christ, we can truly rest in peace even when our lives are in pieces.
