This episode focuses on daily care for show cattle during the spring and summer. Ty Bays is featured on this episode to share his insights on how-to prepare show cattle for the show ring. 

In this episode, I sit down with Dr. John Wenzel, NMSU Cooperative Extension Veterinarian to talk about the use of antimicrobials and hormones in beef. This is a very educational episode that sets the record straight about the usage of antibiotics and hormones in beef. 

There are so many myths and lies out there about turkeys, how they are raised, hormones, steroids etc. I get to the truth on how they are raised, what they are fed as well as other helpful information this thanksgiving season.

While most people are at home, many of them have gone to the outdoors to get some yard work done. People are gardening, watering and using chemical controls against pesky weeds. Dr. Leslie Beck, NMSU Extension Weed Specialist gives some really good advice on staying safe while applying those chemicals as well as other alternatives.
