Gratitude for Energetic Contracts
I am grateful that my family chooses to be together. My children are all over 20 years old and still we find every excuse to have some time physically together on a weekly basis. This doesn’t have to be…we simply choose it.
When kids are little, the laws of the land and God’s laws demand that we spend time with our children and take care of them. After they are grown up, it’s a choice. The first is a contract we enter into based on what is acceptable in our society. The second is a contract we choose to keep in force. I call the second type an energetic contract.
With those we care about, we sometimes break our end of the contract, and luckily, with energetic contracts there is room for apology, forgiveness and renewed commitment. Our energetic contract with God and with Christ falls into this category, as does our energetic contract with ourselves, close friends and business associates, and eternal relationships like family.
There are times when one party has decided a long time ago that they are no longer committed to the contract, but we keep upholding our end of the contract. When this happens, the integrity of the contract is gone. Either a conversation with the person is in order, or we can admit that the contract no longer exists and move on.
Either way, it is possible to change the contract, or leave the way open to create a new one. For example, if a marriage ends, the energetic contract as a couple is dissolved, but a new energetic contract of choosing to be together on parenting could be formed.
With energetic contracts, no words or written document is necessary, there is an implication of what constitutes integrity. And there is freedom to remain or leave at any time.

- I give 100% to the energetic contracts I enter into
- I do my part to maintain integrity within my energetic contracts
- I am constant and reliable as a friend, spouse, parent and business associate.
