Gratitude for Intentionally Being 11.13.19

Listen Later

What a feeling of confidence and power when we have our inspired list of action steps! The emotionally mature person can do those things (always open to inspiration of changes in the moment). and only those things. And then after the list is completed, relax, release and give the remainder to God and the universe to fill in the blanks.

This morning I received such a list. For now, intentionally Being means taking action. When the list is done, I get to just Be…doing nothing.

I was reminded of the parable of the wheat and the tares, where the master of the field commanded that the tares be allowed to grow with the wheat. Several lessons can be learned from this advice with regard to Being.

As youngsters, we have little control over our environment. We all create beliefs about our situations that give us a measure of control. However, if we keep these beliefs as adults when we have the power to change our situation, these same beliefs can be limiting. It serves to allow the beliefs in the beginning. If we tried to pull them out early on, the child is at risk. If the child changes his belief of “I’m helpless”, to “I have the power to change my situation”, he is setting himself up for failure. Feeling helpless as a child is more in alignment. Although, not ideal, it serves to insure the child’s survival.

Another way I can see that it is good to Intentionally Be out of alignment is to avoid distraction. If I see a cobweb in the corner of my ceiling, and I stop whatever I am doing to brush the cobweb away, I may be trading best for good. It’s good to have my home be in alignment with my clean, clear spirit. But if I am in the middle of doing an Inspired Shortcut and I stop to clear the cobweb, that is a distraction. There is an opportunity cost to allowing my focus to be diverted.

I can allow the wheat and tares to grow together – the Limiting Beliefs and the Liberating Beliefs, the cobwebs and the Inspired Shortcuts – until I can easily recognize the difference and act accordingly – separating the good from the best.

God is a Being, who is intentional. Even when He is waiting for us to knock, ask, seek…creation is happening. Being is never stagnant. Energy is vibrating at all times.

We have God within us – seeds of divinity as He is the Father of our spirits. We too, are always creating. Even the choice to not do, is going to create an outcome. However, without being intentional, we may be creating something we don’t want.

Intentionally Being is the Beginning of Intentionally Creating what we want.

  • I am free to intentionally do my part and allow the intentional favorable outcome
  • I am grateful I only have my part
  • I am seeking and aligning with the best version of me
  • I am grateful for my ability to choose
  • I am intentionally choosing the actions that create the best outcome for me
  • I am intentional in fulfilling my covenant obligations and preparing for new opportunities
