I constantly get clues from my body that I am doing well.
Actually, the clues usually come when I am not making good choices. Interesting!
When I am doing well, my body is usually very quiet and peaceful. When I have made a choice that is not so good, it screams at me.
Yawning tells me I need sleep, a stiff neck tells me I need to stand up and do something away from the computer, hunger tells me i need to eat.
Our emotions are physical reminders (or anchors) as well. Mary stated on our call that the physical feeling that happens when we do something brave is vastly different from the physical feeling of overstepping boundaries and getting into someone else’s business.
An anchor is directly connected to something else (like a link that takes us to a web page).
The feeling of accomplishment and pride that comes from being victorious after a courageous act, can serve as a physical reminder (an anchor) next time we are facing something fearful. We remember that we were successful before. Therefore, it makes sense that we can be successful again!
So, physical reminders can be the fuel that motivates us to move forward or stay away depending on the experience the emotion is anchored or linked to.
I love the physical reminders that are on my vision board. I connect with my vision board every day, so I don’t have to clutter my mind with thoughts of what I should be doing. My vision board holds my focus so that I can be open to receive and act on the Inspired Shortcuts that will bring my goals to me in record-breaking time.
One of those Inspired Shortcuts about a year ago was to hire an Image Consultant. I was in so much of a rut that I couldn’t see that my physical appearance was out of alignment with the divine spirit within me. My image consultant was able to help me see myself through the eyes of someone who knew how to bring out my most authentic self.
What works for me, will not work for someone else. We can get clues from others who seem to be on our same path. But ultimately it’s between me and God.
My deepest desire is to have charity for myself as Christ has charity – seeing the greatness and potential inside of me. Then I can allow others to see me in my greatness. and simultaneously, because we are mirrors for each other, I will see the greatness in them as well.
