I have some new hopes and dreams for my business and for the reach of this Gratitude Call podcast. Setting goals is a bit like planting seeds.
This time of year as we are heading to the end of winter and into the first warm days of spring is a nice resting spot to just take an accounting of what we have been ruminating on for weeks or months during the winter stage of goal setting.
We may have a list of goals. Now it is time to choose what we are going to plant, what we will put on our vision board.
Weeds happen regardless and sometimes plants die, so it’s funny that we think we will have a goal process that is devoid of limiting beliefs and trials. Silly really because all things revolve around the same physical and universal laws.
Now is the time to shake off the old winter coat and open our arms to the sun. The heaviness and sluggishness of inactivity gives way to the activity of clearing and preparing the soil. Clear all old beliefs from past experience and enter spring with new anticipation of brand new experiences!
As part of the preparation, let’s find those weeds we don’t want to grow again this year, the old patterns and habits that seem to crop up when we least expect them and grow 3 feet tall overnight. There is a way to plant and cultivate so they will never be seen again.
I know some who are educated in the healing power of plants will even plant weeds! To them, they are useful. Choose what you want to harvest at the end of your growing season. Plant and prepare with the end in mind.
And speaking of harvesting, remember we always have more than we can use ourselves, so cultivate your relationships along the way, so you will have people you care about to share your bounteous harvest with. Sharing the seed crop or clippings from your abundant growth not only is a nice thing to do, it perpetuates abundance. As they plant what you give them in their garden plot, even more fruit is yielded. More to enjoy and more to share.
